What is missed-call text back?
Missed-call text back is an automatic text sent to a caller within seconds of an unanswered call, so the conversation can continue by text instead of ending at voicemail. A good one reads like the owner wrote it, offers one clear next step, & hands anything it cannot answer to a person.
How does it work?
A call to your business number goes unanswered. The phone system or the tool notices the missed call and, within seconds, texts the caller from the same number: who you are, that you missed them, and one question such as what they need or when. When the caller replies, the thread continues by text, and the tool can book a time from your calendar. What does it not do?
It does not rescue a caller who has already dialed the next company, and it does not stand in for a person on a sensitive call.
